I like it as well for two reasons:

 1. Oppurtunity to have knowledgable masters, not all who can play the game understand forums etc.

 2. It paves the way for future Apprentices to come into play. These could be the top 6 in that element fought over in a tournament or something like that.

Actually it has already begun.

This is because you guys were given the title "for free" while the people who try to take it away from you really have to work for it.

We can maybe have the first challenges around 1-1.5 months time.

I was going to suggest this (was going to become Essence's apprentice), but I found this. I think it would be a neat idea, even if the apprentice really didn't do much but have a special title.
