Inability to modify posts in war auction subforum

Hi,
I'm currently unnable to modify my posts in the war auction subforum. Is this wanted, or a bug? Also do others experience this?

All clear here. Just tested.

I was able to edit my app as a normal user. Maybe give it another try? Although we're not supposed to be editing during auction, right?

Edit: Looks like generals can't edit their own posts or delete their own posts in the War Auction area at all, and this is intended, prevents auction drama

This would receive a penalty as it violates a clause in rule 1.2.

Open Auction
The open auction lasts for 3 days. At the beginning of the open auction the Warmasters will reveal all bids from the blind auction and the general who placed them. Generals will bid using the following template:

I was close to violating this (and may have done it) but was saved by inability to edit/modify posts on the auction topics.  I am sure most of us bidding know of this rule but I'm putting it here just as a possible reminder.
