Changing forum profile... Avatar defaults

When I go to change something in my forum profile, my avatar defaults back to (no pic). This is kind of annoying when you have to scroll through all of those Elements images again. Does anyone else have this problem?

Yeah, it happened to me too. Something even more bizarre happened once, when my jade dragon avatar turned into a downgraded emerald dragon when I logged in the next time. This is not a joke, I'm serious.

That's because SG changed your rule (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,2449.msg23740#msg23740)-breaking signature (she probably should have PM'd you about that) and picked the wrong dragon while doing it.
I'll make sure I pick the right one when I edit your signature this time.

Same happened to me but not with avatar with the posts before the 20th March^tm tourney i was 29 after it put 27, after 4 posts im 31 but, what up with that?

Some of your posts were deleted. As we're talking two posts on the tourney day, most likely it was your sign-up posts.

How do you get an avatar? I have searched all over the profile area and i can not find anything saying how to create an avatar.

You need to have at least 30 posts, first.

Yep, that's exactly what happened. I forgot that the avatar image goes away and just gave you the first green Dragon I could find. Sorry for the mistake.

I'd like to remind everyone that the "forbidden script" is forbidden and I will remove it on sight without wasting my time sending PM's.


As for this avatar thing.. its' a bug in the forum software that won't be fixed at this point. The updated version of the forum software is probably available soon. Then this avatar bug (along with a bunch of other bugs) will be fixed.

Meanwhile I recommend you memorize the number of your avatar image before making changes to your profile page.

It's not a big deal. Most people don't know this rule because it's not written in the "Rules" section. It's more like an unwritten rule made to decrease confusion.
