"Cards" section with a thread for each individual card in the game

I can do Time. But I think it would be much better to start a topic for each element. Jmizzle or some other veteran player could write an in-depth strategy guide for each element...

E.g.

Staple cards, what's the general strategy, it synergizes well/doesn't synergize well with, nice card combos, mostly used with "*" splash...

What do you think? People wouldn't comment every card anyway... most would remain with 0-2 comments, while the well-known cards would get more, and people wouldn't be encouraged to read all cards' topics anyway...

Each card can have a stickied topic in its own respective subforum, but you can always post other topics too.

Hmm... I think we're already doing a topic for each element and a thread for each card within each element. I don't think pillars need threads (but I may be wrong ), so...

Yes, that's a good point. At first I wanted to do it with attachments because I wanted to have the pictures on our server, not the Wikia.com one. But I totally forgot this new wiki I'm working on, which has the images on our server, and we can link them just like you said.

Just to be clear... It is just a discussion thread? Because I had planned on writing some detailed card/mechanic analysis. I should keep those separate I guess.

Yes, I was thinking about having only one thread per card, just like we have right now in "In Development".

But other option is to have a child-child forum for for each card, like:

Cards -> Aether -> Lightning -> 'My cool thread about Lighting'
Cards -> Aether -> Lightning -> 'Lighting sucks!!!'
etc.

This would require additional navigation level but it would make sense if there was a lot of discussion.

Oh, and if you have some detailed analysis of cards, please copy-paste them on the new wiki as well.

- find the post about the particular card
- click "edit" (it's next to the title)
- paste in the text
- change author name from my name to yours (you can find a drop-down menu for that in the same window where you pasted the text)

Done. The card article now has the text and all credit goes to you.

I think a child forum for just the element is enough; I can only envision a handful of cards that would need separate threads for strategies and such, and if you sticky the threads we don't have to worry about them dying anytime soon.
