card idea format (if picture is absent)

my suggestion is:

card name/ upped name
type (perm, creature, spell)
cost to play from hand
attack/health (creatures only)
passive effect(creatures/perms only)
on field effect(creatures/perms only)
use effect (spells only)
cost to activate on-field effect

of course if there is no info for some of the spaces, they are left blank

There is a spreadsheet being made for actual cards. This one is about ideas for new cards given so far. Basically Mr. Master of Air is proposing ANOTHER spreadsheet to be made based only upon new card IDEAS, so that it is easier for the heads and higher-ups and so on to look for new card ideas, instead of going over massive amounts of new threads...also for those of us who love looking at new card ideas

I also propose adding a link to the original topic so that you can see the replies for the card ideas you like, to find out what other people thought about it.
I think this is a great idea for everyone to see what ideas have already been posted, and also for brainstorming new ideas. +karma, though I'm too new to give it lol

Definately a good idea.

I support this 100 % as it helps look at dynamics and what has goine before and why it hasn't come through etc.

In some ways I want a little tag on the end with support for game implementation or something like that so people can see at a glance if an idea works or not.

Just some more food for thought.

/facepalm I must have been really tired. I get it now. This would be a lot more difficult to get started and keep updated. It's very doable but what governs what would make this list or not. Is it only for generally accepted ideas or any idea that is posted even if 90% of the community thinks its a bad card? Through discussions, card ideas change many many times in each card idea thread so do we wait for the OP to green-light the addition to the spreadsheet?

One idea would be to have multiple levels:
One for New Ideas, one for Highly Rated Ideas, one for Poorly Rated Ideas, etc.
Also, it would be good to include a voting system on the Card Idea forum, so that ratings for each card could be added to the spreadsheet. That way they can be sorted by Name, Element, Type, or Rating.

Bad cards should not be excluded, I think, because even from bad ideas can a good card be made... ideas would need to be sifted through to weed out or tie together those ideas that are very closely related to each other...

i completely like this idea, tho it would take a while to make...
if a moderator could do so, please transfer all the comments regarding this idea to the new thread when im done with making it (which will be very soon hopefully)
