It's rather redundant, given the Card Art subsection, and people might get confused as to where you should post smithy cards.

I think the CIA board should have a name that explains all subforums inside it. Most of the subfoums are centered around Card Ideas but Card Art is not a Card Idea IMHO so the forum name needs to communicate that Card Art is in it as well as Card Ideas.

I do not see how changing the name would make it less confusing/more clear.

People look at the Card Ideas and Art and see that this is where they will put their card idea.

They see the Card Art subforum, and will think that there should also be one for Card Ideas.

They see no Card Ideas subforum, and go to the next best thing, design theory.

The rest, you know very well.

Granted this is a fairly small % of people, but it's a % nonetheless.

Alternatively we have some small percentage of people that want to create Card Art put it in Visual Arts instead.

It might be worthwhile to test it out for a season or two.

The thing I was most confused about when I was reading the "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING YOUR CARD IDEA!" thread was where this "Smithy" place was. I mean, I could clearly see places named Crucible, Armory, etc. but I couldn't find this "Smithy" that was mentioned here and there. That's why I think we should just call it "Smithy" and move the sub-forums (Design Theory and Card Art) outside of it.

Not so fond of that idea.

Smithy reflects nothing about the actual subsection unless you've already read that thread. Moving design theory and Card Art out is not a good idea in general, too.
Card idea stuff should be kept with card idea stuff.
