Well in that case, about half the of those descriptions on the front page have periods, half of them don't.
EDIT: Actually, about half the things on the forums in general have periods, and the other half don't.
Not sure if you would like me to list so many of them.

You decide how important they are.
On the front page again, near the bottom, there're images next to New Posts, No New Posts, and Redirect Board.
I don't know about Redirect Board, but I think New Posts is supposed to be
