Cage Master - New Forum Staff Position

Hi Everyone,

Just a suggestion, lots of people are wondering what will happen to battle, since it is so inactive. Will there be anymore updates? Chimera Battles? Trophy? and the list gone on. Just a proposal that we create a new staff position called "Cage Masters". Cage Masters will constantly monitor battle and host competitions and tournament weekly, so that battle can be revived. Also we need more people in the Hall of Fame, than just 1. There are many dedicated battle players, who would love to step up and help improve Forum Battles. Not only will they improve Battle, they will monitor and organize the battle section of forums

I realised I had said this to a Council Member in chat, but not posted here.

Battle has to be maintained and updated by an Admin, since it requires that kind of access. A Cage Master could certainly do the few things you mention, but most of the work is for the Admin. As such, one of us will bring it up with the Council when we know we have the time to develop Battle. At that point the Council will define the Cage Master's (if that will be the title) job and subsequently hire an appropriate number of members for the job.
