You're jumping to conclusions that I didn't make. I didn't say "Most people here do something so we should all have avatars of that." I was saying that you're going to get a lot of hate from this thread BECAUSE of the amount of people on here who like anime.

M:tG has nothing to do with anime. Yu-Gi-Oh the card game is a card game that shares fans with the anime but also has many players who don't watch the anime. Some people who use this forum also watch porn, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't censor porn on the forum.

If you don't like people's avatars, there's a setting on your profile that makes it so that you don't see avatars when surfing the forums.

Can we please ban all anime avatars? They're ugly as sin and I feel embarrassed for associating myself with a bunch of weeaboos. It'd help EtG seem more credible to just get rid of these abominations. Thanks!

What makes them abominable and ugly? Some people like them, and it's not really right to force your opinion on others. And about the "weeaboos", I think the majority of the community does not use anime avatars. And no matter what, you will always associate yourself with someone who does something you do not approve of. Don't worry about the avatars, they're only a reflection of those people. I think you would be better off asking for a way to disable looking at avatars, since you sound like you hate to look at them.

 go to Profile -> Look and Layout -> Don´t show user´s avatars.

So you can get rid of ALL avatars.
I see no reason to ban avatars because of personal taste. Avatars can only be banned, if they are against Forum Rules, or maybe copyright.
