Merging of some sort

So, I am not entirely sure this falls within the scope of this particular section of the forum (something I will learn with time I am sure), and, I am not sure how feasible this is, but I do think the game, chat, and forum should do some level of account merging.



For instance, on the forum, in account setting, you would specify your elements name, and you would be prompted to log in.
If you do so successfully, then stats about your Elements account automatically appear on your profile.


Possibly something of a similar nature could be done with chat.



A final thing that I like about this idea is that, when something is won in a contest, instead of giving a code, moderators would be able to give one credit to the winning account, that then can be activated at any time.

I think it would make the forum feel closer to the game, and just would ultimately lead to a tighter community, that is still very inclusive.


Another forum suggestion is giving me karma. But that is just me.

It's something that often gets suggested, but the limitations on this are mostly technical - Zanz has his own database of users which isn't compatible with the forum software, and no-one really has the expertise or free time to find some way of putting the two together. It'd either require Zanz completely rewriting his database of users, or it would require someone to write entirely new forum software. Unfortunately neither of these things are particularly likely.
