Add Word Description - Color Change?

I find it very difficult to read the text inserted between the [desc] tags because the color is well...practically unreadable.  I remember this function being a nice white color previously; did this get changed after the software update?  I believe there is a way to change the color manually, but I would still rather see people use a different color as a default.

So is it possible to set the default to a different color for everyone's retinas' sake?

I stopped using the [desc] tag when I found out about the [abbr] tag. Less pretty floating box but hey, it works. Do note that with abbr, the "dotted  underline" is somehow invisible in chrome.
