Accessible High Scores from Forum

The title says it all. There's likely a number of programmatic steps that would need to be taken, but this is really necessary -- and high scores need to include everyone, not just the top 50 players.

If only Zanz could move the High Scores from that third-party MochiGames to something based on the forums...that would also encourage new players to come to the forum, too.

Totally right! I think you raise an excellent point: the competitive spirit of high scores lists always encourages more players to play.

There could even be awards on forum profiles for making top-50, or for reaching 100K points, or whatever. There's just a lot of ways to take advantage of score ... which right now is totally underutilized.

Also, we don't want new Elements players to register for MochiGames. Making them register for the forums kills two birds with one stone.

Some T50 players are barely even known on this forum - linking the Game and Forum could solve that, too.

I think your suggestion of having a high score table extended beyond top 50 is a brilliant idea. It means people who don't have such high score can see how they're doing compared to other players. Also agree about having the high scores on the forums.

I wish for this idea so much please tell zanzarino because most players don't really want to submit their score because they don't want themself to be on top50 which they might have a grinding deck so with this idea it would help alot for players who want to view scores without having to submit.

This idea will bring alot of players which will give this forums a larger member base.

This has been on zanz's To-Do List for quite some time. The Top-500 is his latest idea, but he has always wanted to separate the high score list from MochiMedia (for many reasons).

I so agree that this should be done so we wouldn't have to relay on MochiMedia plus am sure zanz is busy with top500 that he might get the highscores change done when top500 is being release.

I think this should wait until T500.
Right now, score has little significance. It just shows how much you grind. When T500 comes, the high scores will be much more important.
