Well then, time for me to be the guy with the unpopular opinion.
No one in the T50 has any room to talk. Before you assume I'm bein' mean here, ask yourselves:
Mr. has-6-of-every-rare, how did you /get/ those rares? Mrs. grinds-false-gods-all-day, how did you /get/ the shards of gratitude needs to build your deck? How did you get the electrocuter? Many of you built RoL/hope in the days where there were no electrocuters in the Ai3, so I'm willing to guess many of you got to t50 status the same way those new guys are trying to.
Farms.
I remember when I was just starting out playing. I had my descent FFQ deck, it grinded AI3 nicely, and I was slowly trying to build an SGbow. However, I couldn't. I, like many noobs, had picked my favorite element's weapon (vampire stiletto, back in the days where it sucked) instead of the eternity or pulverizer needed to grind false gods. And I was stuck. I could grind Ai3 all day, but I'd never spin one. I could beat Ai5 without eternity, but the deck simply can't grind false gods without one. So I went to the T50.
A few days later, a lovely man by the name of MrBlonde had a farm up that gave me the eternity I needed.
So why is it now, that all of you are so good at the game you possess the ability to put up farms of every rare, and you're so good that you are in the top ~30 scores in the game (I say that because of double-reporting), you get to decide others don't have the same resources you relied on? Have you forgotten what it was like not to have any rares? Are you honestly going to tell me you paid for all of your SoGs, and got all your rares off of the gods and Ai3? Or perhaps the only reason you /can/ put up farms now is because of all the farms that came before you. They were all willing to pay it forward. Jmizzle even made a second account so he could have a farm up and play the game at the same time. And it's because he did that a lot of you got to pull rares off of his T50 account.
What gives you the right to take away a resource you yourselves relied on to get to here? Why, now that you've climbed the ladder of elements, are you destroying the very rungs that brought you here? Could it be that you've forgotten what it was it was like before you were where you are now?
I get it, I really do. You're doing a favor to all the other players. You can't play the game while you have a farm up, and I imagine it's quite fun to put a legitimate deck in the T50 just to see people play it. But come on. Maybe that guy was rude about it, but you shouldn't take down farms altogether just because of him/her. Especially with war coming up, and players suddenly needing rares they've never tried to grind for before. It's a legitimate strategy to cut off their supply of cards, but it's a mean one, and a hypocritical one at that.
I'm not saying you're forced to have a farm up constantly and tend to newbs every whim. But come on. You can't sit there and act like you weren't just as reliant on, and clingy to, farms as he is. All of us had a time where our only hope for improvement in this game, in some way or another, was a farm.
Even if that player doesn't deserve the farms you put up, this game is played by around 10,000 people (last I checked). At any given time, any number of 10,000 people might be relying on your farm. It's not fair to them that you remove your farms because one idiot looked a gift horse in the mouth.
