I don't like like Entropy. I definetly hate Fire. So the first time I ran across casthegamer's deck at Top 50 I sighted thinking I would be wasting time and 15 coins. Every turn I feared him exploding my nightfalls ans pillars, burning my creatures, or worse, casting that Entropy potion on my Black Dragon.
I've played against this deck with a mono black. Everytime happens the same: he only plays fire pillars. He never discards any card, because there are many, many fire pillars in that deck. And that's all he does. The first three times I though I was lucky, that I had avoided some sort of über powering Farhenheit or something.
You win with Elemental Mastery. Then you spin and... there's not a single fire or entropy card, but the five Eternities I have I owe them to him.
The AI may be horrible, but this is like a free bonus. And it's not the only one; there are at least two other decks in Top 50 almost like that (not THAT passive, though, and no, they're not the slow god-killer types that fall against a small, fast deck).
So, how can a deck like this make it to top 50?
EDIT: Ok, I saw this:
