It's something I've never fully understood, and I'd love to hear thoughts from those who do.  The reasons I've heard usually fall into one of five categories.  The first three also explain why a player might submit more than once.
You want to set up farms. You want to show off your deck... and not just on the forum. You want to show off your score... it's an image thingYou just want to see where you stand compared to other players. You've never thought about it; it's just something you do.

#1 - I want to set up farms.
#4 - I want to see where I stand compared to other players.

I'm also proud to have made it into the T50, wich took quite a bit of work. Therefore I want to stay in as long as possible.

What I wondered though, isn't your score submitted automatically during playing? I mean if I grind T50 after changing decks and meet myself, it's always the deck I am currently using. Even without submitting my score it uses the same deck as I use at that moment.

On a sidenote, people who sumbit their score more then once make me a very sad panda  :'(

#1 and #2 are the only ones that make sense to me. I don't see how score is important when the fastest way to get score is mindlessly playing AI.

#1 and #2...in a sense.  If I'm in a particularly good mood I'll usually post a farm.  If I'm involved in a PvP Event, however, I won't do that unless I'm done deck testing (I just don't trust the trainer...).  Sometimes I'll post decks on T50 to get feedback from other players who faced it, how fast was it, did it seem to have any quanta issues, etc.  People generally tend to let me know if they beat me in T50 after all :P

I don't submit to compare scores though; if I honestly can't bear the curiosity anymore then I check it on the Trainer.  But overall it's not a big deal.

Well there are people who play t50, and for casual t50 grinders to not just run into random egotrippers who quadrilliontuple their scores on the list but have some variation (me), I submit scores. I sometimes feel like setting up farms and helping people while I'm at it.

And it's semi automatic, I always go "yay" (totally lame and emotionless, but still "yay") if I find myself at number one in t50 after reset.

I actually set my clock for that, then screenshot it and watch it the entire day while drooling.

Sorry, back on topic!

#1 (farms) and #4 (comparing), I guess. I completely forgot I could do #4 in the trainer, though.

As of now, there really isn't any incentive in having a big score other than getting your name in the T50.

Simply, if I do it it is to check where I stand. You can ONLY do that by submitting your score, which is kind of dumb. It doesn't mean that much, because it never takes into account how long someone has been playing. It basically says ''look I played a lot of games.''

Perhaps this is a bit off topic but I've been wondering how it is possible that one player occupies more than one spot in the T50 scoreboard. Is it that every time you resubmit with a different score you gain a new slot?

This would mean that a player like 10 men which is usually first in the leaderboard could play 50 games, submit 50 times and T50 grinding would be against him only?

I'm a casual T50 grinder and this all seems a bit strange to me.

P.S. Thanks to all of you who do submit to set up farms, much appreciated!

If you submit your score from a different computer (diff IP-adres) your score get's submitted again. This is the case even when the score itself didn't change.

There are probably more examples of ways to resubmit your score.
