May I recommend the healbow (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11831.0.html).  If you are after win %, this deck should do well and it had a pretty high EM rate versus t50 that will offset its lower ttw.  EM's will give you a higher score and electrum generation at the expense of some speed.

My version of control Entrobow lost? Oh well, must have been lots of T3 grinding rush decks running around... I blame you jmdt, and your Turns to Win for that!  :P

lol

Since my ttw study came out, the landscape of the top 50 has changed a good bit.  There are many more rush decks in the t50 these days than there used to be.

I know you said you were tired of fire rushes, and the first fractal phoneix was a let down, but i really like this one, and I think it has potential

Thanks.

Sixth Matchup: (92% win rate? that's a joke, rite?!)

For this matchup, there is the reigning champion:

Mono-Earth Shrieker Rush

The classic shrieker rush deck!  Fast and simple.

Code: [Select]
6rk 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 77h 77h 77h 77h 77h 77h
Then there is the challenger:

 jmdt's healbow

This deck was put up for testing by jmdt.  Its a rainbow deck with a good amount of healing potential, and wings for defense.

Code: [Select]
6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 713 713 74f 77g 77g 7ae 7ai 7ai 7dm 7dq 7gm 7ju 7n8 7n8 7q4 7q5 7t9 7tb 80g

Results:

I played 100 games for each side, 200 total.

Stats!:

 Mono-Earth Shrieker Rush:
Win/Loss= 92/8, 92%, with a TTW of 6.717, 32 Elemental Masteries
Points gained: 2846
Electrum gained: 3691

 jmdt's Healbow:
Win/Loss= 82/18, 82%, with a TTW of 9.305, 45 Elemental Masteries
Points gained: 2767
Electrum gained: 3691

Shrieker deck pulled off a win percentage of 92%, which is crazy.  On the forum today there is someone complaining that people aren't putting up farm decks anymore.... which is just plain wrong.  The Shrieker deck also pulled off 32 elemental masteries, which is 12 more than in the last matchup.  Of course not all of these are due to farm decks, a lot of them are due to killing rainbow control decks before they are able to do dmg.

jmdt's Healbow deck did great.  It won at a rate of 82%.  Granted, there were a lot of easy decks floating around this time, which can be seen by the high win rate for the shrieker deck.  Interesting is how this deck wins against the decks that zse's rainbow deck loses against, and loses against the decks that zse's rainbow deck wins against.  The healbow can totally crush some hard rush decks, by putting out wings.  But the deck loses against many rainbow control decks, especially ones with antimatter.  The deck really has problems with antimatter since you can't cremate the creatures, nor burrow them.  You can only use your 1 rewind.  A lot of the time i wished that instead of my vamp dagger (or explode), that i had a pulverizer.  Battles against rainbow decks were really tough.

The healbow deck did deliver on Elemental masteries, gaining 45 out of 100 games.  A lot of them were farm decks, but that is still a nice high rate.  If you compare Electrum gained, both decks are exactly equal, even though healbow lost 10 more games, the EMs made up for it in electrum.
Seeing that Shrieker ended games much faster, and gained more points, while staying equal on electrum... Shrieker wins again.

Winner is Mono-Earth Shrieker Rush!

My healbow put up quite a good showing.  45 EM's is pretty nice; maybe even a bit low from my testing but the T50 always changes.

wait so can we get from this thread that in T50, unlike AI3, EM's arent effective?
or is there simply an EM build we have yet to find

I think a main problem is your more experienced with the shrieker deck so know how to use that more than the other decks.

actually i play the other decks very slowly, trying to eke out every advantage to gain a lower turn to win score.
If i see that i made any mistake, i think hard if it actually had any effect on the final outcome, and possibly throw out that game, if it caused a loss...    but that almost never happens.

Its much more likely to happen while playing shrieker, where i might not notice that he cast an antimatter on one of my creatures...  since i play shrieker deck very fast.

but you are free to play a couple hundred games yourself, and see how the decks do on your own, if you don't trust my playing skill    :P

This is my pet deck i use for AI3 / Top50 . Pretty much the standard Cremate Rush tweaked for consistancy.
It is relying to Cremate Phoenix instead of Ball Lightnings and thus is slightly less explosive during the initial 2 turns, but frequently outdamages its counterpart during the following turns by having less "bad" topdecks like Cremate/Ball Lightning.

It was designed to grind AI3 and thus it has no way to get rid of Phase Shields etc. but it is still my deck of choice when it comes down to top50-grinding.

Hopefully you arenĀ“t sick of playing fire-rush variants yet  and give it a shot.
