How often does the game check your deck? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=20525.msg260467#msg260467

I assumed that all you had to do was make a farm deck, then submit your highscore, the deck that you have when you submit your highscore would become the deck that is in t50, available to be fought. Apparently that doesn't work. Can someone explain to me how highscores works in terms of what deck you submit?

After you have submitted you are in for the week. Anytime the game saves after that the deck you are using is the one that shows up in top50. If you try to find yourself in top50 it will be the exact same deck you are playing. If you want to leave up a farm, you have to switch to the farmable deck after you are done with everything else and make sure the game saves.

Simply, "How often does the game check your deck?": Every time the game saves (when you access the main menu).

there is a way to bypass this whole saving thing so that you can farm yourself and as i recall, it was not considered cheating :-

1) submit highscore with a farm deck
2) close internet connection
3) grind T50 offline with your grinder deck
4) ??
5) PROFIT*

* you'll need to connect and save your game state after all said and done though

highly doubt that you can grind t50 offline in the first place. The system calls the decks from the t50 database, which is constantly updated online.

yep, my bad
honestly i have never done this myself and thus i got it wrong
basically what this accomplish is that you can put up a farm deck for others indefinitely* while you grind (any other AI except T50) and only reconnect again to save the current state mostly not to hinder your own grinding while serving up farm for others
