not really reporting a desync but just to show how a desync issue *could* be abused (mod please remove this if its not in an appropriate place)

i am not accusing anyone of using it but playing PvP tourneys a lot i tend to notice some similarities

let say both you and your opponent successfully connected to each other
i ALWAYS greet my opponent at the start by saying something like "GLHF" or "hey" just to let him know i'm in the game
often times they dont reply back or would rather use chat PMs instead (which then i told them to use in-game PMs instead)
how a desync can be abused is that one guy, after seeing he has a bad starting hand COULD keep silent or pretend to do nothing while the timer counts down in the first turns until the AI/CPU takes over in similar fashion where one is a couple of turns a way from losing the match

but this is a lot harder to confirm/prove because screenshot wont reveal anything
it might be a real desync or just an attempt by a person to get a better starting hand

you might say its not that big of an issue but any kind of cheating IS kind of a big issue

in short, i hope desync can be fixed as soon as possible (make it number #1 priority instead of churning out new cards, whatever is necessary as long as we can get past this) because as much as i hate cheaters, i hate those that enable cheaters a whole lot more and desync is the biggest cheater enabler there is

There's really no way to get a screenshot of this, but sometimes the pvp duel doesn't connect fully, so one player doesn't connect at all and one ends up playing the AI

PVP 2ing.
Will try be as detailed as possible, since I'm not sure what parts of this are useful
Opponent: Gravity Fire Deck. (Minor Phoenix, Firemasters and Faerenheight)
-Light Time deck (Blessings, Dune Scorps, Sundials, Miracles, SoGs)
I think we both had some SoGs.

I played a Sundial, he played a faerenheight and intelligently cremated all 3 of his minor phoenixes.
Next turn, I may have played a shard-but otherwise nothing.
He then cremated all the of his minor phoenixes (I remember seeing the cremation card occur 4 times on the sidebar), and then 4 minor phoenixes appeared on his side of the table.
Desynch Error then popped up.
Game seemed to run normal for next two turns (He then won the game)

Sorry I didn't remember better, I was not expecting a desync, and did not realise I needed a screenshot.

For some reason, every Dissipation Field I face gives me desynchs >.<

First all Entropy quanta will dissappear (doesn't make sense, since I'm talking about the Field), then the shield dissappears, and afterwards the shield pops back Protected and everything and it reports a desynch.....

So far has happened to me against every Dissipation Field I've faced...

Weird desynch happened (my first, ever): I was playing the standard liferusher with 12 pillars, 6 frogs, 6 adrenalines and 6 cockatrices and my opponent played something scarab-ish (duo deck time/aether). I've got no screenshot, but I can recall everything correctly. First, there was not much going on, I played a Cockatrice and a Frog and used Adrenaline on that Frog. I attacked him a few rounds, then he used Reverse Time on my Frog. I played the frog the next turn and used my second Adrenaline and he used Reverse Time on the same Frog again. There was a button telling me there was a desynch that got solved now. He then played a Scarab and all of a sudden he had 6 of them the next turn. Finally he desynched completly and the CPU took over. While he was playing he didn't devour any Scarabs but played Reverse Time every round.

Time-out desync. Your connection took too long, and the computer took over for you on his screen. As he plays multiple turns against you as an AI, the turn information that gets sent to you screws up and causes multiple turns to happen to you while you are still connected to him for a turn or two.

Wow. I don't have a screenshot or an exact memory of what happened... but Jumba asked me to report it, so i will do so.

I had problems with gravity pulled Voodoo doll twice during the tournament tonight. This is AFTER i had several successful duals using it however. First error happened vs. several lava golems and fire eaters. They had enough attack to kill me if the voodoo wasnt there, and as it was, enough damage to kill the voodoo doll, but leave me alive. Instead they ignored the gravity pull and killed me.

Second error (and last time I used THAT deck) was again a situation where the gravity pull was not working. Except this time from my perspective I saw the voodoo doll absorbing as it was supposed to. (by the way, in all these instances, the voodoo doll also had basilisk blood applied, several times.) just before I should have won, my opponent gained a small amount of life and I could not win. He said, from his perspective, that the doll was never absorbing damage.

I know this is kind of a lame review, but that's the best I can do.

I was just reading this thread and it occurred to me a problem with this sort of thing a friend of mine had. He was telling me this, so It might not be accurrate, but basicely it seemed to him he was playing two people at one. He was using a water poison, and one of them was a mono darkness (i think). He thinks they all took turns to attack each other, and so sometimes half his creatures would dissapear, as one would attack him, while he was against the other. He could only talk to one guy, who could also see the third guy, but not talk to him. In the end, as his poisen cards poisened both of them double, he beat the first guy, and the game stopped.

Sorry this is a bit vague, but I can't quite remember - it was some time ago.

This is the other type of common PvP desync, next to time-out.

Basically what happens is the PvP server glitches and accidentally puts you into a 3-way match. You have about one turn to type stuff, and then the game goes crazy. Every time the game repeats a cycle of opponents, for some reason it makes the thing that was first typed repeat, making it look like a bot or hacker. Sometimes after you beat one opponent, then the other one has already started a new game against someone else and it looks like the game reset. The entire thing sort of turns into a tangled mess of desync and becomes really annoying.

He decided to not do anything and let the AI take over (he was still there because he kept messaging me afterward but I couldn't respond because the button disappeared, which is partially the reason I couldn't take a picture).  The AI evolved his 3 Graboids (which he had been keeping unevolved for some time even though he had enough Time Quanta), and then after the Shriekers attacked, they destroyed themseves and replaced themselved with copies of themselves with 0 | 0.  Then the name part of each Shieker became black and the burrow ability lost it's quanta mark (It just said 1   : Burrow with the space), and they died again after the AI attacked again. Nothing weird happened after that, but I suppose that's because I finished him quickly. Also, this bug was not corrected because I didn't see the yellow exclamation mark appear.

When playing in Pvp2, the following occurred: (http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd115938/Glitch)

My opponent had played Sky Blitz on his or her previous turn, that is before the last quanta generation, but I didn't notice it until his or her next turn. Nothing else happened with it, as after this turn the air quantum went up to 0, so I would assume it's just de-sync of some sort.
