Any variety in Top 50?

Seriously, why even have a top 50 section if 95%+ of them are the same boring raindow deck?  If it wasn't for those few people that are kind enough to put up farm decks for the newbs, I'd never play top 50 because it is SO boring.  If people aren't going to put a farm deck up, at least put up something that shows an ounce of originality.

You seem to not understand how the Top 50 works. It isn't that we submit and that deck goes into the Top 50 and doesn't change unless we resubmit. Our decks in the Top 50 are what we are using at the moment. And how do you think we got so high of scores? By farming False Gods. How do we farm False Gods? With a rainbow deck.

And even though most T50ers aren't online when you're playing them, they either forget to set up a farm or don't feel like switching to a pvp deck solely so you can play something other than a rainbow. Asking them to switch to something more interesting just so you can have more fun is kind of selfish. In fact, if they switched to a pvp deck, your T50 farmer might actually lose .

What do you want us to do? Stop farming gods just so our T50 decks are cooler?

You are correct, I did not understand how the T50 hands are setup.  And yes, I am selfish in that I want this game to be more fun, but that should also be the objective of the developers.  My suggestion would be for the developers to allow T50ers to set a PvP hand or whatever curve ball deck they want to throw at people that doesn't change regardless of what those people are actually playing at the moment.  It is nothing personal, I just think the way the T50 is currently setup it is boring and perhaps there are ways the game can be improved.

I suspect the practical outcome of that feature would be that more people would put up rare farms (since it would be easier).

I agree.  It's nice to get ideas on how to make a level sixing deck when coming back to the game after months [me], but there is no point in playing fifty different varieties of the same deck when all that most of us are looking for is a shot at a shard or one of the actually-rare rares.

I'm going to stop purposefully shedding score to try to get into the T-50 again, so I can post some funny stuff with rares in it.  I don't blame T50'ers for not caring what goes up, or just posting what they feel is a good godgrinder, but if you're going to boost your score and money far past the point of sanity, try to show off some weird strategies, post some PVP decks or something specialized to function well in the hands of an AI, do something unique when and if you can.  Please.

I'll post some support or a new topic on a related issue immediately after this [and breakfast...]; something along the lines of "I haven't yet donated anything to this awesome game, but can we pretty-please get multiple deck save slots?"

It's been awesome there lately.  I just wanted to say thanks to all the T-50s.  I now have a good chance of getting what I'm looking for [SoGs, of course, but I want to FIGHT for them!], but I get challenge and variety too.  There's even one deck in the T-50 that utterly cripples my strategy, and that's a lovely rare of its own.

I feel this side-note belongs in this topic too -- rare farms.

Yeah, I want rares to build crazy things.  But I want to have fun getting them.  It's a matter of personal preference to me, not morals -- anyway, my only remaining request to the T-50s is this:  when and if possible, post your rare farms as part of a strategy.  Extra thanks to all those who already do this.  I'm loving the Life decks and hope to win a staff soon!
