- A Pillar creature (more accurately; a pillar soldier) still produces quanta of its type.  (A quantum pillar produces 1 random)
- A Pillar/Tower targeted by Walking Pillar will have base stats of 1|4 and produce quanta of its type.  Cost of 3 quanta matching its element.
- A Pillar/Tower targeted by Animate Pillar will have base stats of 1|4 and produce quanta of its type.  Cost of 3 quanta matching its element.

- An animated Quantum Tower produces one random quanta each turn.

I like this. I was trying to come up with some sort of mechanic similar to this but I guess I was overthinking it. This is straightforward and to the point. Animate a pillar, get an extra creature, don't lose any quanta.

What happens if I target an upgraded pillar? Or a Quantum Pillar?

Make the unupped target pillars and unupped pendulums and the upped target pillars/towers and either pendulums.

... damnit, I was going to have a very similar idea called "Animate Essence" for Duality series that would've been  :life:air .

The difference can't be the cost ATM - that would unbalance this card - which is already balanced.

The best way to alter this card if necessary:

Unupped cost 2  :earth | 1 :earth

Pillars / Unupped Pends are  1 | 4
Towers / Upped Pends are 2 | 5

I'm a bit irritated that an idea I was planning to start got already done by someone else again, but to be honest, that's how life rolls, I'll get over it.  Great card, doesn't really need much balancing.

Can we let pendulums be out of the equation? I understand the power of :earth Earth being used to let pillars and towers to move but pendulums? Really?

Pendulums feel more :time Time oriented to me, let there be a separate pendulum enchantment for :time Time to weild, let the creativity begin.

I agree with Hyroen, there should be a :time card called animate pendulum or something. With different stats. A tower isn't quite similar to a pendulum :P

I think that quantum pillars/towers should create 1 random, like nymph tears. The reason is that there are already quanta-generation skills programmed into the game (air for damselfly, fire for upped firefly and brimstone, light for RoL and unupped firefly, earth for gemstone, etc.) but no skill that would fit "generate 3 random types of quanta"

Actually, on further thought, do all pillars/towers have the quanta generation as an ability?
