Stone towers! So I came up with this magma/volvano creature that turns into stone towers upon death. after a while I thought, well volcanos can be dormant and then become active, why dont I give this magma spirit the ability to awaken other volvanic spirits from their dormant form as stone towers. Thus I give you Volcanic a creature that turns into or can be formed from stone pillars. An new kindof attacker for Fire that is a novel take on the fire-earth synergy. SERIES:

I was thinking the same thing. Also I like the idea of immolation with this card after it's created towers/pillars into volcanic.. After the earth towers come out, the lava golems are ready to go

lol. thanks. It was a random thought but I think its an interesting idea to have creatures turn into pillars and vice versa. We already have nymph queen but id like to see element synergies created this way.

Edit: I hadnt thought about pends. but i would think that you could target earth pendulums, however volcanic will always turn into a pillar or tower.

When I first saw it I thought it was a spell that made this creature.  Now I see it is a creature that can make more of itself.

In my mind, it works better if it is a spell to begin, like you as the controller of fire awaken this volcano, then the volcano grows.  Though, that requires a stone pillar already in play to start off the reaction, nerfing it, but allowing the spell to cost a bit less?  Anywhooo....

It's a cool idea, and thematic too. One problem though: it only has ANY use at all if you have Stone Pillar in your deck. That is, it requires another, very specific card to be useful; that automatically gives it a near 0% chance to be implemented in-game (well, those odds aren't too different for any other card idea, but meh).

Maybe if it worked with any Earth permanent/creature? Hmm ...

Well actually, I saw it more as you can play out this card first in a fire rush. draw out the opponents CC (this creature is doing like six damage a turn, opponent best be thinking CC), the play your lava golems which can now be fueled by the earth towers that have been created without worrying as much about CC. and then later as a final slap in the face you can play another volcanic and turn all your stone pillars into volcanics again.

But if you think it needs other effects to get played....

It don't need Stone Pillars. Just Immo this thing, and you have for Lava Golems. It can give fire decks with an mark the chance to change their mark (probably to fire) if they want because this thing can provide the quanta for them. I'm always into new ways to get desired quanta, so kudos to this card!
