NOTES:
These cards use a new mechanic called combo.

Round 1:
- Ninja has a small counter in the corner of the card saying "1"
- Critical strike: ignore armor (aka momentum) (I'll probably change this)
- If a hit, Ninja gets counter "2"

Round 2:
- Dual strike: attack twice (attacks two times, BOTH have to hit in order to get counter "3")
- If a hit, Ninja gets counter "3"

Round 3:
- Poisonous strike: inflict 2 poison damage
- Ninja gets counter "1"

So a full combo needs 3 turns.

Ninja gets counter "1" if one of these things happen:
- Ninja missed an attack
- Ninja doesn't attack (stasis)
- Ninja does poisonous strike

SERIES:
This card will be a part of "Combo Killers" series which is a community project. If you want to join, just pick an element and design a card based on this combo mechanic. Elements taken so far:  :aether :air :death. Once we get all 12, we'll start a series page.

How can the first attack miss if it is with momentum?

"The way it works is that Undead Ninja first attacks using Critical strike (3 damage, momentum), then IF the first attack hit the opponent" So why the IF? :P

So, if ONE of the double attacks miss, the combo is broken? If the first attack misses, is there still a second attack?

Overall, nice concept. PRetty balanced too, considering the nice abilities, high cost and low-medium stats.

Ummm...this card is broken on it's face.  Right where you said
Quote
and then starts all over again from Critical strike.
you caused an infinite damage attack.  No shields = instant death, because the cycle continues indefinitely and deals enough damage to kill the opponent in one shot.

Take that part away, and you're still looking at a creature that will regularly deal 9 damage+2 poison in a single attack for only 7 :death .   That's still OP from my end.  The point about Adrenaline can't be ignored.  And the Combo mechanic is drop dead sexy.  It's seriously brilliant -- it just needs to have the cyclical nature removed and the kinks of this particular card worked out.  And the Adrenaline thing.  That's important.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

^ Idont know what you are seeing but i think it works like this
1st turn : momentum attack
2nd turn : "dived attack"(twice the damage)
3rd turn : standard attack that applys 2 pioson on hit.

this card seems relatively balanced as is , though the 2 poison might be much with adrenaline. maybe it should be unaffected by adrenaline.

Yeah, Essense, my understanding was each phase of the "combo" was done one at a time, in different turns.

With that said, if adrenaline only completed one combo, it wouldn't be all that powerful. (Two moderately high cost cards for 9+2 poison a turn.) Sure, overtime it will do a lot, but it's easy to kill, and frogs do 12 damage a turn for mono and one of them being way cheaper in the combo.

I am curious, also. It would be pretty cool if the unupped version got 4 attacks: Critical, Dual, Poisonous, then Critical again. But it would prolly be less overpowered if it just did what Arsenic or Puffer Fish does: it only adds 1 extra turn phase. So if it starts off with Adrenaline, you get Critical and Dual first, then Poisonous and Critical on your next turn. That would be fine.

This is a very interesting idea and it's well balanced. I actually think it costs too much, actually. 6 or 5 :death would be fine. I think it's fine and it adds an interesting and it definitely adds a deeper aspect to the game.
