if elite tyrant doesnt consume a creature, it doesnt consume quanta.
both activates their abilities at the end of each of your turns, i was unable to fit everything in the description. and it wouldnt make sense if i put it in the upped version and not the unupped.
i see why this card can be considered UP. so i will change the growth to +3|+1.
my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "its better than yours" damn right, its better than yours! i can teach you but i'd have to charge!

It's a growth creature that requires 2 on-element quanta instead of one off-element quanta, but doesn't gain HP as quickly and also requires you to sacrifice a creature each turn it's out.  Do you pick which creature to sacrifice?  It doesn't really seem all that good, Forest Spirits are probably a better option.  Although they take a few turns to grow, they cost less too.

Probably a bit too powerful--using otyugh as a reference, this starts with 4/6 attack (vs 0/3 or 0/5) and gains +2/+1 (vs +1/+1) with each consumed creature.  So it starts stronger and gains faster, for only 3 additional starting quanta and 1 additional/turn?

Well, that takes 3 elements and would be pretty pointless in a rainbow, since you can just use Lava Destroyers for more damage and you don't have to pay as much or take a creature each turn. Forest Spectres would also probably be better since they are much cheaper and have only 2 less starting attack.

The upped doesn't die when it can't consume a creature, that's the difference.

Even so, I think it would be perfectly viable to make it +3/+1, since now it's just a nerfed Growth, or if you want to get into the fact that it's mono, think Fire Spectre.

To pick what to sacrifice, it should probably be the creature with the least hp, if they are even then just pick randomly among them. That'd give it a lot better synergy with FFQ.

i had a couple mess ups in the original creating process, i tried the card creator thing, didnt work when i saved it. i instead went with the template. and i was already getting a little sick of working with this card, so i left some of the minor and unnecessary mistakes stay, none of them realy affect the card, and the upped version does consume, regardless of command. the notes explains it

Compare FFQ + graveyard +..................... lizard vs Otyugh.  Acknowledging the lizard only eats his own, after only 3 consumptions  he's already 10/9 vs 3/6 (or 3/8 upped) for the otyugh.  After 5 consumptions, it's 14/11 vs 5/8 (5/10.)  That's essentially having 3 otyugh's worth of damage for a trifle more cost.

And after those consumptions, you have no creature control instead of nearly complete creature control (I know there are a bunch of creatures with 10+ HP, but the point is that you can eat most things you will come across at that point).  Plus, eating creatures either requires you to get malignant cells going (an additional 8 :death at the start + turns waiting for multiplication) or pay 2 :life more to create a firefly each turn or find some way to make mass skeletons.

I guess this could be good if you had a fractal on ray of lights or something.... That might make it worth it. But as stated above it seems too dependent on generating a creatures you don't need for any other purpose than to sacrifice...

you mean a boneyard/graveyard? 
Turn 1 create firefly, lizard eats firefly.  Skeleton created.  Cost 4 :life
Turn 2, lizard eats skeleton. Cost 2 :life
Turn 3, create firefly, lizard eats firefly.  Skeleton created. Cost 4 :life
Etc.

I'm gathering there's some desire here for a :life splash deck to get some kind of growth creature, but costwise you'd be better served with forest spirit/spectre.  If you're branching beyond 2 elements, rainbow will serve you well and graveyards are not that expensive. Or am I still missing something?

I like the idea and the direction you're showing but I think the mechanic you have used is flawed. What controls which creature is Cannibalized?



How about the following skills:

(passive) Starving: This creature gets -1|-1 each turn and has an upkeep of :life :life (Same passive as flooding but with :life and -1|-1)

(Active) 0: Cannibalize: Destroy target creature you control, this creature gets +3|+2
(same mechanic as Immolation but gives a boost instead of quanta)

This is to keep your ideas but in a mechanic that the game already uses. It may need to be value balanced.
