(This comment is part of Option II - Phase 1 Time Trial)
Here’s an interesting creature.
Time really needs some other creatures, and this could be a nice one…but in my opinion this card isn’t balanced yet.
First of all the cost is too high; I know that has a really important skill, but almost all time card have a high cost, and 8/7 time quanta to play a 0/2 creature is too much, considering that its ability is useless with 3 pillars/towers or less.
A nice solution could be to reduce card cost to (for example) 4/3.
If you want to maintain actual cost, then increase hp; come on…topaz is one of the most hard mineral in the world (8 points in Mohs scale, after Diamond and Corundum…), I think 5/6 HPs will make this creature more solid…
At the moment, I don’t see a useful use for this creature (unless it is readily quint’d ); there’s no choice between playing this one or, for example, a pharaoh.
I really like the idea of a creature who helps quanta production, it could be a nice solution to make time based deck
more terribly…fast…but I would be very hesitant to spend 7/8 quanta that could be lost if my opponent uses just a lightning or a shockwave…
I hope my mention of Mohs scale is starting for an increase in HPs…but I think card cost reduction is the way…
PS: I think gem series idea is very brilliant…
