That seems pretty reasonable to me (though I would like less than 7 since there are a lot of cool cards that cost 6).
I could definitely see building a deck around these... if only nymphs tears cost less...

Interesting idea, I think it's feasible, because is only 1 turn.

Well the upped The Blood Price (of the new suggestion) allows less than 8, Nymph's Tears costs 7, it would be just fine?

I think the biggest problem this has is miracle, and i cant really see it used much if it cant summon dragons and such.

Here is my solution: play cards, then drain hp after, this way, miracle only takes you to 55|64 health. Idk about whether it would draind individually upped or not, so maybe drain 2x the cost instead of 2 cards.

Eagle: i think the card says pay hp, same as sosac does, thus would remove hp even with sosac. Besides that, most decks with this are going to be rushes, which means they wont need sosac.

There's plenty of useful cards that don't cost as much as dragons. You could still put down a Phoenix and then use Improved Heal for free on turn one. It's different from an immo rush but still costs only 7 HP and you don't need a photon/immo (much more specific cards).
The most interesting part as i see it would be the possibilities of duo'ing because of not having to worry about the quanta type, and the fact that it lets you get a head-start easily, like landing your Mind Flayer before the other player, and such things.

In either version, i don't consider the use of Miracle after the effect as a real problem, because it's still giving up one of your Miracles just to get some cards out. You never know if that Miracle could have saved you later on by allowing you to survive a couple turns longer.

Consider this a poll: Does the new proposed version of the card lose too much appeal, or is it worth it considering the more controlled balance?
Also i'm thinking maybe the new upped version can have costs doubled instead of tripled, since the cards played probably can't be gamebreaking anymore..

I think as long as fractal, miracle, and sky blitz cant be abused with it, things should turn out ok. I'm not sure if doubled is too low a price or not. Tripled definitely is high enough to discourage excessive use. Or maybe it should be somewhere in between... Maybe this is a good one for testing on the game simulator tool.

Thanks. I shall replace the limitless potential version by the safer one then.

EDIT: done, i guess i'm gonna add it to crucible list.

I think you need to do manual playtesting for hypothetical cards. ZBlader and EmeraldTiger have a good system for manual playtesting of hypothetical cards.
