May as well make the card cost 9 and 8 to match Skyblitz, since it may be used similarly in OTK decks (if that's your vision for the card)

Edit: Oh, you changed it ;D

Well, this can be used for all creatures, not just airborne.

This would be quite ugly in a sparktal deck.

Ball lightening + this + fractal
Assuming 6 ball lightenings:
6*9 = 54 damage for 10 :fire and 10 :aether ... thats a pretty heavy hit.
Not only that, you get back the fire you used and then some , so it ends up a net -10 :aether + 8 :fire
54 damage at a net cost of 2 quanta for a 3 card combo ... seems a little OP.

So how should I improve on it then?

Alright, card art added to it. Sorry if the sigma can't stand out, I'm too novice for that.

IMO, the quanta recovery makes this card OP. A few Phoenixes and things become cheap fast!!
Aside from that, it's a good idea.

So you want the quanta production to be rid of completely?

Well, I guess the idea behind of quanta recovery is to reduce the penalty of sacrificing your creatures... but since the  :fire element has a 'berserk' quality to it, IMO this compensation seems a bit out of place. But hey, this is just a feeling.
I still mantain that the card combined with phoenixes is a bit OP, though.

Well I guess you're right. Since there is skills like ablaze and graviton fire eaters can sure gain profit from it. Removed the quanta regeneration mechanism.

I actually kinda like it mechanics wise now. Might be slightly OP still without an added shortcoming but removing the quanta gainback helps a lot I think.

I almost want to say it should consum remaining fire quanta, like sky blitz or fractal... which would make a truly scary combo if you could pull off the trio... With ball lightening it may be an OTK...

Optimally (with an otherwise empty hand)
(BL + Fractal -> 5 BL + This + Sky blitz -> (5+3)*5*2 = 15*5*2 =75*2 = 150! Thats a half blood OTK for 30 quanta + 4 cards... not quite a perfect FG hunter, but still pretty nasty... seems fitting that it would drain 3 quanta pools...

The primary use of this card will be with massive creature swarms. E.g. sparktals and skelly or infected cell spammers. The false god Fire Queen would be a real terror with this too.

----
Art suggestion: One way to get the sigma to pop out would be to add a layer over top with the symbol in Black and the rest transparent... like putting a cookie cutter over top. Should be pretty easy in GIMP or Photoshop... Or even just open it in paint and use the brush or spray paint or text box tool.

Alright. Consumes all remaining :fire quanta.

GIMP download FAIL. Can't find .exe file.

I really really like where this card is going now!
I'm kinda new to the forum... how is this supposed to get its way into the crucible?
If it does, i'll vote the hell out of it!!!

The author (AnonymousRevival) puts it in as a crucible submission
The curator looks it over for errors and if it checks out VOILA it gets put in crucible.
(if there are errors they post a note in the topic letting the author know to fix it and resubmit)

Not sure when this element's next curation period is up though...

I'll put it up into the crucible when I've finished my entie series and everyone thinks its good to go.

BTW, the GIMP only gave me a share folder, an outlook address, a DAT file and an uninstall program. no .exe file :(.

What about using it and then playing chimera? Would it die nonetheless?
