Is reconstruct :entropy or :water? The card art and table contradict each other.

Awesome idea, cool concept, nice execution. Very useful for Water, too: Antimatter + Flooding is strong, but with this it's even stronger. Also, it may be useful in rainbows too: a replicating quantum pillar that works off of entropy mark to round out the quanta base even further...

With 4x Shard of Patience and 4x Ship of Theseus. Strong stall deck, Ships help with the quanta and a single Shard of Patience turns a fleet of ships into a slaughtering powerhouse of 4 attack critters. It may need some time to start, but Flooding, Ice Shield and Antimatter are a good strategy. Water masters might tweak this further, maybe adding chrysaoras, rainbow cards, other stuff... but it is certainly a nice deck archetype.

Personally, I think the upgraded version should cost  :rainbow quanta since  2 elements that don't synergize that well gets kinda tricky when throwing in random quanta generation. Ofcourse, one could ignore the random quanta, as in the previously mentioned combination with SoP, which would be devastating with say mark of entropy and some squids, but it doesn't benefit from the random quanta except with SoP(and if I remember correctly, upgraded SoP costs 1  :rainbow to play). I think the random quanta cost would allow this card to be put in more versatile use. The cost should maybe be increased to 3, since this would probably mostly be used in entropy mark SNbows with SoSe or something of the kind.

Anyway, interesting card and original idea, though i think it needs minor tweaking.

is this good enough? also the 1 increase in cost is kinda a lot.
My default opinion of a new card is OP. Your job as a card creator will have to be to convince me otherwise.
