So while this is out, you can't protect your own thingies? thats kind UP. You have to wait for the opponent to destroy it so you don't waste your own PAs on it. I would change it so only the opponents' targeting of your permanents does damage to the shard.

Otherwise, the opponent saves up three explosions so it can destroy said permanent before you protect it.

I guess this helps out aether. Which needs an "other" permanent protection.
Weird, its turquoise as well.

Unless it's a rainbow deck, I don't expect to see this and PA used together. I was afraid that this is too powerful, so I made it so that you can't target your own permanents while this is on.

Should the ability be active or passive? In other words, should the ability be on if SoP is in stasis?

The color is called cyan. And yes, this does have a relation to Aether. I said that this card was inspired by Xinef: He thinks cyan is a defensive color because it reminded him of Phase Shields.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

(yellow)wait what? I don't get this bit? >_<
you can't target your own perms with this shard out? So that is what -- basically no PA (unless you like stealing/destroying your own pillars :/ hrmm)

passive is good - so it can be used whilst frozen/in stasis -- I mean - it sucks in comparison to PA already (sort of)
Also if this is to replace PA (in some decks) you won't be carrying BB anyway so I think it's quite good

But you can spam it with blessings and stuff so :/ maybe good idk

I think it is fine to be passive. A good new way to make basilisk blood useful.

The ability will be changed to passive for now.

i agree with people above that this should at least be immaterial, or else it's underpowered.

Also, if not immaterial, basilisk blood (or earth nymph) would make this card absolutely go crazy, and i don't think that should be allowed.

Another way would be to use angels to heal it each turn, if you played this with a Light deck you would definately have a good setup being able to protect your other permanents but then again :light doesn't need a lot of help these days to go it alone.

Nice work.

I wanted this to be so that your opponent can get rid of the permanent protection by killing the shard.

Why would you use Basilisk Blood when you already have PA? They're both Earth cards.

Beccause PA only protects 1 cluster - not all your perms!
this can be used in mono-aether to save your dim.shields from being destroyed/stolen so I would deffo use this
then because of mono-aether I can use Fractal  ;D and have (1 + 8 )*2= 18 artifacts protected already

Agreed - should be immaterial - that wasy it is 2 no-matter what - no screwing around with BB and Heal or w/e
if they want to kill perms - they best do it with Butterfly or Pulv then - instead of spell cards!

I dont think this could make a FG deck unless your fighting seism because think, Permanents are good but its mostly in damage, so think about this...

SoP + BBlood + Rage Pot + BBlood again (Saying you dont quint it)

Thats when gemini uses his pretty little twin universe card like 5 or 6 times then uses momentum and maybe even gravity pull

A.K.A, YOUR BONED

If you DO quint, then your also gunna have to wait for the perfect hand.
Yeah, but still, it looks like a fun card. I would take it anyday.

Everyone seems to be thinking that just because your permanents can't be destroyed then you're never going to die, yeh you fractal this you've just lost half of your creature space to 0 attack creatures, basilisk blood this your enemies still killing you to death, enemy rushes you yeh you're dead.

Good idea BS and I think it's actually fine already.
