For those suggesting bioluminescence, every existing card that has the invulnerable status icon inherently has the immaterial active (or primary) skill.  The Immaterial skill basically means "when this creature is summoned it gains the invulnerable status."

Existing conventions do not have to define new cards, but it is nice to have some consistency.
