ART: Original Art by Flayne, modified by Zblader IDEA: Zblader NOTES: My thoughts on this card is that you can play a strong cheap creature at the cost of having an enemy appear as well (sort like this creature was already battling something bfore it joined you).  The upgraded version lessons the potential damage given (5 to 4) at the cost of having more things to kill. ART: Zblader IDEA: Zblader NOTES: Random effects could be : 40% No Effect, 5% Start with Burrow, 5% Start with Generate 1 Quanta, 10% Start with 1 Poison, 10% Start with 1 Purify, 5% Start with 2 Turn Delay, 15% Start with 1 Turn Delay, 5% take 2 damage when played, or 5% start with Frozen.  Idea simulates how in RPG's you'll encouter different enemies.  At the moment, these cards are meant to be unobtainable. The upped version could be for otyugh bait, I guess....but it seems like the unupped is severely UP. It could use an attack boost or spawn a different creature.

are that really good to make your opponent have  5/5 creature for free but you lose 3 and gain only 4/5 creature.    think about i carefully.

btw.  with this mechanic    i'm think summon a dark/death creature will be better.  this way it will have a little synergy with other light card. (cuz that card don't even have someone use it in this way)

with what i say.   you can change this creature in to something very strong like dragon but less cost.  and summon dark/death dragon to your opponent.

After reading your little 'About me' part below your profile, I just want to say: WELCOME to the Card Ideas & Art board! Feel free to P.M. me with any questions you have regarding the card design process, but I'm sure many or our more active card creators can also assist you in designing cards for Elements.

That said, I think that a Desperate Ally would rather have a creature that partially helps and hinders them rather than outright giving a semi-useful creature to the opponent (if you're desperate, you would summon other questionable creatures to your side rather than the enemy, no?). I like the concept nonetheless.

Cool! But a programmer's note: coding a :dark Abomination / Micro Abomination - or even worse coding color-changing mechanics - would be BAD to do. I think giving another :dark creature (or more) to the opponent would be better - although Zanzarino is implementing new mechanics all the time.

Maybe summoning a Gargoyle for the unupped and two Bloodsuckers for the upped? Or just an upped Gargoyle... Just a thought, though.

That said, I think that a Desperate Ally would rather have a creature that partially helps and hinders them rather than outright giving a semi-useful creature to the opponent (if you're desperate, you would summon other questionable creatures to your side rather than the enemy, no?). I like the concept nonetheless.

As for that (and the first quote as well), I had originally chosen Abomination due to it's stats and lack of ability, which  seemed to fit well with Ally's stats (except for the dragons, every Death/Darkness creature has some kind of ability.)  For the moment, I'm planning to change the spawns to different cards instead.

-Minor mistake; in the TEXT section for the upped card, you need to remove the phrase "(elite)" from the table, as the word isn't on the card image (TEXT must match the card image word for word, punctuation symbol for symbol)

I definitely like the reworking of the 'Combatant' - having new allies with unique abilities makes more sense when you try to summon a 'not-so-helpful' ally onto your field.
