Not sure about this, but I've made the unupped give all creatures 1 Purify counter.

Quote
I've made the cards do different things to work with/against different cards as well as give the unupped use even after upgraded cards become available to the player.
In a sense I'm thinking the upgraded is like an "instant" rain while the unupped is like a lingering rain.
Now the unupped one is better than the upgraded card. :|

I promote this card as well, and (I'm not sure if I'm allowed to 'advertise' my own card here, but) Antidote | Antibiotic (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,14338.0.html) is also a card that cures poison. Just thought I'd toss that out there.

To be honest, I just really want something that cures creature poison in-game, and SOON.

Life causes poison. Water purifies poison. This is canon.

I thought death caused poison with arsenic, poison, deathstalker, chrysaora, and parasite. Also, shouldn't life save your life by healing poison, as well as contradict death?

Life heals, it doesn't cure. As for poison, there's a Scorpion (forget him not, as unacclaimed as he may be). Water cleanses the toxins, or purifies as it were.

Look at it this way: Life may heal ya, but if yer dirty, go take a shower.

poison isn't dirty, it is internally affecting you. it is like a sickness. what do you do? take some medicine. water helps, but it doesn't counteract poison. if you get stung by a scorpion, drinking water or taking a shower won't save you. what will? the anti-venom.

Yeah, well, you have a point... I still think  :water is OK as an anti-poison, but maybe  :life should have an anti poison card.

In ETG Water is the element for purification type removal of poison.
In ETG Life is more associated with growth.
So Regeneration would be a fitting antipoison for Life.
An actual Antivenom would fall under the domain of Water in ETG as it already has (how did you think Purify worked?).
To cure poison one must cleanse the system. Only  :water and :light are philosophically related with cleansing as of now.
if something should cure poison, I think it should be life. just my opinion.

I was only referring to the 2 elements named.
To be complete:
Poison:  :darkness :death :life :time :water
Healing:  :darkness :earth :entropy :gravity :life :light :water
Purify Counters:  :water
Water is the purifying element I do not expect that to change.

Life should save your life by out healing poison but do not expect it to cure the poison without a cleansing agent.
Also currently Light is the reigning healing element, also has a cleansing philosophical aspect and has been suggested before.

So Life should get ways for at least some creatures to out heal poison but I see no reason to confuse out heal with cure.

alright, that makes sense, but I don't think life can heal creatures as of now which is odd.

I like this card, as it builds on the purify like death does with poison.

Great idea!
