You forgot to take into account the fact that it is upgraded.  I'd price the upped at 5 in respect to the unupped.

Right now it seems to be okay, compare it to Immortal, for example.
However, another idea was to switch the two forms: the upgraded one becomes the unupgraded and vice versa, perhaps the latter one could have 2|7 or 1|7. In this case, after the upgrade you can have the same Creature with no useful attack but, for half price. (Eventually, Phoenix and Abomination works in the same way.)

Plus, the upped works better with Fractal. But yeah, for triggered abilities, being cheaper is much better than "normal" cards. Perhaps you could change the effect of the upgraded to get quanta equal to double the cost.

You've all got a point, I modified it for the last time. The attack of both cards are ridiculous but, look at the price of the upgraded one! ^_^

Nice card.  might be better to theme it as something other than a sorcerer though.  the whole sorcerer/wizard theme is a bit of a cop out (one i'll admit to being guilty of using occasionally) and its usually (though not always) better to do it as something else.

Mmm-hmm, in this case I still have time 'till saturday to assign something more creature-like to this card for good. Most probably with another illustration.
