CURATOR COMMENT
-You need to remove the ' :light' icon from the 'Element' section, and retain the word "Light"
-Add a  :light icon after the card's Cost section (make it so that it matches the image - as it is now, you're implying that it costs 5 generic quanta, which is false)

A lovely card to go with Eclipse, assuming you can spam it on your own creatures (imagine that - playing this card with a field filled with Rays of Light, and turning them all into Darkness to benefit from an Eclipse later on :o). I'm really loving this new art you made. :D Is it an abstract of the idea of a Paladin | Paragon?

pic problem fixed.  :)) really shiny armor.

So, it means I should change the pic? Any curator please comment.

@miniwally (off topic) btw, I think Spartacus is more light than darkness :p
Yes you have to change the picture.

So what if he's more light he's still awesome :P.
It just seems odd that miniwally master of darkness chooses a good guy as an icon.
Light is so awesome that even darkness wants to be like it.  :))
Darkness =/= evil and seeing as this is extreme thread hi-jacking I shall also PM this to you and hope you to PM me back if you want to carry on the conversation.

I also like the new image (imagination can conjure up a better image then any artist can) also it's good you post an image of what goes where on the image for any person who wants to do an image cause personally I do like the idea.

Thanks for the compliment about the card. I think the art is a mix of both abstract and realistic. I always imagine purity in a Paladin | Paragon like an emanating light, plus a shiny armor and a shiny sword, in my opinion a Paladin | Paragon is engulfed in blinding light.

AeonSage - if you're there, could you please reupload your card image for Paladin | Paragon? It appears that the image hosting website has taken it down, so I hope that you can find another suitable (and more stable) site to upload the image to.

Note that if your card wins in a poll, but has no image, the second place entry will be moved up instead, and your card idea might be sent down back to the main page (Level 0 - Smithy) if this is not done in time.

Thank you.

Couple problems I see with this card, though not extremely serious...

First, Holy Light and Nightfall are the ONLY reasons you'd want to use this creature's ability.  Rewind would revert the element-change.  Were it not for the decent quantum-to-damage ratio, this would fill a niche and nothing more.  We don't need more niche cards.

Second, in the one combo it seems to be designed for - Holy Light CC - it is devastating.  This is a creature, so it's already going to be dealing damage to your opponent, and Light decks already run quanta-high, so 1 :light is nothing.  It's like packing Fire Lances, except everything but Armagios, Titans, Colossal/Massive Dragons, and boosted creatures can be one-shotted without regard to quanta.  It's like having an automatic 30 Fire quanta on your Fire Bolt.

I am also not sure this fits Light's theme.  Many people have certainly complained about Holy Light's bias toward a certain two elements; it seems arbitrary and unnecessary.  Light is more about healing itself and having indestructible permanents than about destroying things.  (Of course Crusader can work kind of like Steal, so Light's theme is expanding...)

I would like to see the Paladin become a bit more flexible.  It's a good concept but a bit narrow on the one hand, and possibly ridiculously powerful on the other.

You're using 2 cards to deal 10 damage, and unless you're packing Aether, the paladin is vulnerable to CC. Not terribly OP.

This card would become more flexible if it also changed the target's skill's element cost. It would be sorta like a lobo for non-Darkness decks. Rainbows that rely on creatures' active abilities would be burning up all their :darkness quanta.

Update the card?  :D

I might call it "Judge Fallen" or "Brand Heretic" to express the notion that the Paladin calls out the creature for being a sinner, thus causing its fall.

I think Planplan's Card Builder gives you more Elements-looking cards (see the side-by-side comparison on the SevenSapiens builder thread). I like the ability name suggestions, though.

*squints extremely hard to find the difference*

I like the one where I can edit my work without having to re-do the whole thing from scratch.  ;D

OP, don't abandon us! Your card is awesome! I'll take up the cause for you if you don't want to anymore!
