The new added card should remain in the same position or go to the bottom of your hand?
Same position.

Really? Not to be harsh but fairly certain this has been done before and was largely ignored.
Also, all this does is gives you a way to bypass the 6 card limit, albeit you better play damn carefully if you don't want to muck it up.
Sure the mechanic behind it sounds nice but is it really as amazing as many are suggesting? Hell I have a card in my archives with a damn close effect(turns into a copy of the last played card).
Maybe I'm being bitter? Perhaps I'm looking at this wrong, but I really don't get the hype...

I really don't get the hype...
It is a few factors:
1) This is an unpredictable extra card
2) It is meant to be able to break the 6 limit for any card not just spells.

3) It uses the hand order as an input.

4) Its mechanic was extremely concise without losing clarity.

However I was hyped over all 3 (Mimic, Doubling Spell and Echo)

Haha, you pretty much missed the effect right there.

I suggest adding 'in your hand" or something to the end of the sentence, just to clear things up.
Overall, though, a great card! :)

Despite its high flexibility, its zero-cost seems to be okay because of auto-mulligan disadvantage.
A brilliant idea anyway. Especially I love the distinction between unupped and upped ones.

With the exception of drawing the unupped one as the first card(s) in your deck, you *want* to draw it in your opening hand. It can mimic a quanta producer which will give you a consistent edge and allow you to put fewer quanta producers in your deck. The card is definitely unbalanced without a cost.

If Mimics are the only zero-cost cards in your starting hand, auto-mulligan will not function and your hand is crippled.

You are right. I didn't think of it that way.
