I'm a little unsure about "king", but I guess that's because the lion is the supposed "king of the beasts".

Name makes think of an earth creature, so I think it's fine.

Mountain King makes me think of a dwarf but I think it is the best you'll get. (Mountain Lord doesn't sound any better)
