Can combo with non-upgraded. Covers the board faster. upkeep would be a problem through.

I can see where you're coming from now I was thinking they could abuse it but the upkeep would cripple them for a few turns.

Hey Mini? You might want to talk to SG to have your card 'fixed' in the Crucible section, seeing that the image there is based off of your OLD idea (the generic +1 to HP/AP buff), so that people would look over your card more.

I agree I really prefer this idea and I'm trying to remember what flood looks like and if it looks all right I might change it red and do a small animation of what I think it'd look like.

...you just made my head explode. O_o Wouldn't that be interesting, how DUAL environmental effects can counter each other and affect the battlefield?

Of course, 'Blockage' needs to be a little more thrashed out before it's put in the game alongside Lava...

Do you know what happens when lava touches extremely cool water (or at least ocean water)? It hardens, becomes stone/rock like, and because it's been freshly transformed from liquid magma into solidified earth, it's not necessarily good to stand on, thus, it becomes a blockage or barrier.

I thought of it ahrdening but never thought of it as a barrier of some sort but yeh that makes sense but I think that needs to be more developed idea first.

I think it can be a good idea but I have a problem with the card.
But at first a two questions:
1) Does it affect immortal or burrowed creatures?
2) Does it start again after it reached the east/west column?

The problem is that this card is a instant kill card that affect every creature on the field as long it doesn't dive or is fire. Unlike Flood you can't avoid Lava and that's why this card is OP right now.

I think you should change the instant kill to an damaging effect or make the effect avoidable like Flood.

could possibly make it cost less and include only the middle row to compliment flood  + =epic rush
