I did not consider Life.
Life focuses mostly on growth so its CC would come out of growth or would grow (poison).
Earth focuses on strength so its CC would come out of strength.

Light and Life should get more CC cards but this is not the best card to do it with.

Well, eartrh does seem nice. I still agree the upgraded should be Light though. Maybe make a separate poll or something?

well, not really, but the style also fits light more for the upped. I dunno, i just think it should be light, seems to fit. *shrugs*

though i just realized something, (yes I'm slow), if implemented to  :earth, how would this affect Vanadium warden? its the most recent addition to earth's CC devices, this could easily overshadow it imo.
what is the issue with that? how powerful is this compared to Vanadium warden? or if not comparing, how powerful is this united with warden?

Warden attacks grounded, Slayer attacks powerful. It is a nice CC lock down but armies of small flyers would get through.
Warden needs a non mono buff to kill anything but it can target itself.
Slayer needs a powerful enemy to use its ability and randomly targets.
I think they are different enough not to overshadow each other.

I like it bery much. Can be used with blessings to increase the target creature's attak and kill it in the same turn! Also, you could make the skill cost  :light :light |  :light
