Guys, Is Firestall any more OP than RoL/Hope? Think of when Fractal was introduced to the game. This isn't that bad.
It is the greatest mystery of all...

Fire stalls can pack Miracles without resorting to Pendulums, then play them on the fly.  Also, Crusader Fahrenheit can be run entirely on Fire pillars and Mark.  Also, Rangel...

The stability of quantum production it offers these three decktypes in particular frightens me.
Quanta stability at the cost of card advantage.

There is a greater synergy between  :fire :light than  :light :life.
Rustler costs 1 :life, is a creature and has 1 Atk.

Card advantage means less in a stall deck, where you plan on drawing most or all of your cards before winning.

Good point. I seem to have underestimated the card.
Would a  :fire :fire-> :light :light :light be closer to balanced?

Also how would you balance this idea?

1:1 is powerful enough.  In a Fire Bolt deck, at 1:1 this will fuel an unupped Miracle for the cost of two turns' quanta.  The value of this card is that QI is guaranteed - you won't end up with any spare :light at the end of the game unless you convert early to safeguard against PC.  It's like if you could run Pendulums, and then count your :light in the power of your ending Fire Bolts.

in my opinion this as a torch does not have a reason to cost  :fire. this is to cast the card
it should either be free of cost random quanta or :earth (wich i don't recomend at all)

but it's a great idea i love it :D

for me it would turn it real
however maybe something like this:
0 quanta to summon (both uped and unuped
2 :fire = 3 :light unuped
1 :fire = 2 :light uped

Could be very interesting. With rustler's & immolation you could get Emerald Dragons out fast. Probably not reliable enough to be OP, but it could be fun.

I actually hard a card suggestion extremely similar to this one way, way back in the day.
