^ Now with the name change, I don't think a change from  :fire quantum to  :light quantum is needed anymore.
The cost increase is pretty fair, however you've changed the mechanism dramaticaly, making it a totally different creature.
If you have doubts about how your mechanic should work, why don't you put a poll about it?  ;)

Anyway I'm pretty surprised that you changed the mechanic this drastically, but it seems balanced. I'll let someone more experienced determine though

This thing seemed dead inside. It seemed like an automaton, trying to act like as if it was alive. The effect was unsettling.
Orianna made a sound that supposed to a girl's squeal of glee and hugged The Ball. While it might have been touching, it was unfortunately only horrifying.
