Interesting...I can say this could make for an interesting partner to Ghost of the Past.
Darned if you do and Darned if you don't!
As a matter of fact, these two almost work beautifully together.
Ghost of the Past hurts if discarded, and Ghost of the future hurts if you have space in your hand.
Now if only there was a  card that could put Ghost of the Past into your opponent's hand...

they can work together, but it's not immedaitely obvious for them to, because nightmare will fill their hand, this wont attack, but if you reverse time a few ghost of the pasts onto their deck, and then make them draw them with this, then youre having fun.

reverse time does counter the said setback GotF has so yes, there's a good synergy imo

Wouldn't the silence end up filling the opponent's hand thus preventing these from attacking?

it seems people keep forgeting that this card wont attack when the other deck's hand is full

mostly the point, it loses efficinecy though, if your opponent's hand is mostly full, not many of these attack.  also, 3 HP so it is rather vulnerable to all the CC it will be making the opponent draw.
