Yes a Gemfinder targeted by this would then produce every turn under the current mechanics although the poll is showing that the community prefers it to lobotomize which would make a Gemfinder targeted by this simply produce every turn since it would remove the first generation.
Under the mechanics as worded, either it would lobotomize Gemfinder's "Generate " ability and replace it with a new edition of "Generate " OR it would be unable to affect Gemfinder (a creature can only have 1 lobotomizeable ability at a time). The current wording (along with the mechanics of how the game works) means that Gemfinder would not gain "Generate " without a specific exception to the mechanics being added to the effect.

Also since your running the contest what is your opinion of it intentionally lobotomizing does it make it more about cc or is it still focused on quanta generation?
Making it a status would maintain the intent and permit "Generate "(it is unknown if lobotomizable statuses can stack with themselves so while a momentum Generate is possible, it is unknown if a Generate will be possible.)Making it a status allows it to have a lower casting cost than a lobo spell which would make it produce more net quanta per game.
I'm Reviving this thread to say it has potential, and only change I would make is have it target non-skilled creatures
