You're either unnecessarily adding cremations to the deck or saving them in your hand when normally you would use them to throw out more damage. They also require sacrificing creatures, and hence your damage output. Also, once you start chaining these, you're almost guaranteed to stop putting out more damage, since you likely won't be able to afford spending any quanta. And thanks to the the fragility of fire creatures, your opponent, instead of being overwhelmed with damage and losing, may now have the chance to pick off your creatures with their cc.
