NOTES:
Only creatures with less than their maximum HP may be targeted; target creature is killed.
Friendly creatures may be targeted.
This is a death effect and will trigger Boneyards.

Some strategic notes:
- Good synergy with Plague/Retrovirus against such things as dragons.
- Capable of destroying even Massive Dragons and flying Titans.
- Synergy with Fire Shield/Thorn Carapace.

This can't be applied until spells aside from Holy Light come into play that heal creatures. (don't say Guardian Angel, 'cause it's a creature.)

Why could it not Nepycros?

I like the idea, but as you might guess, I'm scared of it! Instant kill.  Just throw up a Plague + this and you killed all enemy creatures regardless of health for 7  :death

So I'm gonna go ahead like you said at the bottom of your original post; up the cost in my opinion

i really like the card, fits death PERFECTLY, and where did you get the art, did you do it yourself?

on that point i must agree, i say put a cap of 5 random monsters destroyed and 6 for the upped
key word RANDOM

That fits more with Entropy.  I'm tossing around several ideas, keep discussing by all means and stay tuned.

I considered a permanent, but I really dislike the random aspect.

Yes, I agree it's slightly too powerful, but consider other combinations available to players already:

Plague/Retrovirus: perhaps not instant death, but for 2 :death it will clear all creatures that don't have either growth or immortality.  Some creatures may of course live a while.
Thorn Carapace: see Plague, though small chance to miss.
Fire Shield: Ibid.  Rain of Fire also available even in mono and will speed things up a lot.

Admittedly the above are slower.  This new card holds advantages over 1) the above field-wide control, which take longer, and 2) Freeze-Shockwave, which is single-target.

So I'm trying to find a nerf that won't make it needlessly complex or fit a different element better.  One possibility is to slay any creature missing at least half its health, this makes dragons more resilient and all but kills the Thunderstorm combo.  It's just a bit too... weird.
