I'm not sure either why it is OP. The idea is that you punish someone for playing out pillars. Early in the game this would take a bit to set up. If you are lucky and get 5 towers and this in your first hand then yes you may think that as it punishes right from the get go but otherwise you would be playing this out on your second or third turn thus giving the opponent time to recoup and put out pillars before hand. Remember it is targetable as well so can be stolen or destroyed unless you enchant it.

So if you analise it you would end up with this on your third turn active, your opponent has already played out 4 pillars thus they most likely only have 6-7 left. You may have pillars as well so you would get around 15 Golems in play over the space of 6-7 turns (remembering apart from the first turn or if they use Hourglass|Precognition|Sundial you only play one pillar per turn).

You could neutralise this by holding on to your own pillars stacking them and then stealing this from your opponent and then playing them all in one hit I suppose.

But still not sure how it is OP.

Elite Golem could have the name "Mythril Golem" to match the Forge names.

I wonder how this would affect game balance when 6 of these mean an army with every pillar. The Boneyard is similar but how does an AI understand that it should not play a pillar or be at a loss?

I like it.

Yes my apoligies in reflection I should have called him Mythril Golem but didn't. I will change that today.

I am unsure how the AI would react to this, I did think a little on it but not enough to come up with an answer. As it is the AI lacks a lot of synergistic knowledge of how the cards work already (although that has been getting better) so not sure if that would become an issue.

The card is best used in PvP even unupped becomes of great use and at the very least can provide fodder for Otyugh when you need it.

I deliberately made the army relatively weak so it could be neutralised with RoF or such (pandemonium on these when you have a full board would be interesting). Thus making it effective but only up to a point remembering that even with 6 of these in play you need a pillar to activate it where as boneyard all you have to do is kill something (imagining a :gravity :death deck with Boneyard and Forge)

Thankyou for your comments.

Yes I know and that is the other reason they are weak in attack, they can be nerfed fairly simply even a -1 shield will do the trick in slowing them down.

They are a great fodder army but thats the point if I wanted huge creatures I would bring out a Dragon but these take the cake early on as they are relatively easy to set up while you play pillars for bringing out your dragons.

The other thing of course is to Unstoppable them but you can only do that for 6 and because of their low Hp wouldn't be a good use of your cards.

OK the card now reads Generates a Mythril Golem and the name of the Elite Golem is now changed to Mythril Golem.

I have done no other changes:

 1. I think the element is right as it uses metal to create a Golem and Armagio is the only other Metallic Creature.

 2. Although some have said it will create uber armies as stated above Shields will impact these in a big way as well as being easy to kill through RoF or Thunderstorm.

Thanks

Thankyou. I thought it would be a neat card to use so have shared it now with everyone and hopefully it will make some head way.

I think this is a really great idea and I really like it but what about making it an other card?  I feel like since it is mechanical it has no real element.  Plus other needs more firepower like this :).

Yes Other was on the cards but trying to balance an Other summoner is kinda difficult so I went with :gravity

It may be that the Golems are changed to Other and the Forge stays as :gravity that could be an idea.

This card could work well with an empathic bond deck, although I don't think there will be an abundance of pillars there. Seems to be just the right power.

It would be cool, though, if  the upgraded version had the same stats but generated gravity every turn. Might be OP, though.
