3 quanta for a creature that doesn't pay for itself it's not really that fractal friendly, and a duo won't have enough quanta to abuse it very much. The upgraded version can pull off some pretty powerful combos though.

I think the card should say "Gain 5 HP" instead, because:

    This is how the game refers to it[/li] I thought it gave you 5 :life[/li]

Otherwise, good. Looks balanced. :) Upgraded version can be used as buff fodder, too.
