Trials Phase 1 Card Idea Analysis:
Firstly I'd like to welcome you to the forums Zblader, that while I see via your post count you're in no way new I definitely haven't had much of a chance to get to know you better, vacation and all...
I've seen many comments that this card is very closely related to the card EvaRia did in the Revive the Archive competition, Shuriken. Who was the original creator of Shuriken? That's right, your truely. And let me close that discussion by saying this: Any cards that improve the path towards being included in the game are more than welcome and an Air elemental called, they wouldn't mind new cards to toy around with. If the forums head in a general direction with regards to card concepts, I can guarantee it stands out in the mind of Zanzarino.
Aside, yes this is an interesting card concept, one I myself toyed around with through the original Shuriken and I love it. The main reason I made the original Shurikens have 0 health is because to me it didn't make much sense if the Shuriken was going to be thrown and wedged in one of the Death elemental's many skulls that it should have health and attack again. This card takes a more enchanted aspect to it which I could say warrants the health.
I also think it is quite a bit too sturdy for being an Air card. Air isn't known for hardy creatures and while a Sword could be considered quite sturdy, I'd say that a couple of hits and the Flight enchantment is done. You could maybe decrease the health to 3 | 4 or take another perspective on the magical aspect of flying weapons. Let it be able to animate itself but upon being targeted as a creature it returns to being a weapon, "falling on the floor". That would add some flavour and also make it a bit harder to use, considering that the liberty of using multiple weapons is hindered a little more, however it would seriously make this card a bit more annoying to get rid of.
My only worry with this card is that with Short Bow | Long Bow already not getting much spotlight in decks, I'd figure that this card would overshadow it, working ideally with a Mark of Air. This also brings up the question of rarity, would this card be rare? Should other common weapons be made for each element? This card opens more questions than it gives answers for. That's a good thing.
Good work Zblader, keep it up!! *_*
