Honestly speaking, this is one of two ideas which I came up with when I signed up in the forum. (the other is
Prevailing Winds)
I thought it was a really cool idea, so I was frustrated when I found this post already done.
Now it is in the Forge; I always thought it was such a worthwhile idea.
Well, this is my wording for the idea, which I thought of at first:
Last WishPermanent, 7
| 5
Creatures may die only after their attack. Absorb
per turn.
What it aims is almost the same (CC'd creatures can attack once more and may be healed back), though it does not prevent a creature from being
poisoned to die.
This would also unambiguously kill Sparks (after their attack). How do you think?
Anyway, there are points to be discussed around the idea:
- Overkill. The card can realize its mechanic either by neglecting any damage which makes a creature's HP below 0, or by allowing a creature's HP to have negative values.
You should also consider Gravity Pull; if you take the first option, it may yield a never-die
zombie absorbing every enemy damage.
- Instakill and Sacrifice. This card may or may not affect such situation in its current description.
If it affects, then some odd things might happen; Virus, Catapult'd Voodoo Doll, or even Shard of Focus, ...
- There may also be some issues with Shard of Patience.
I want to help refine this idea as much as possible, as I am very interested in it for the reason above.
