I like your ideas so far, I have seen lots of your cards and they are all pretty sweet. This one included. I like the concept of fate egg nests, but why only Cockatrices? Also if you decide to stick with only Cockatrices for this egg nest to work, I suggest you raise the percentage. I like it, might I suggest keeping everything the same but perhaps even lowering the percentage if you wish, and then allowing the nest to work without any restrictions as soon as you play it? Just an idea. Your cards, do what you want.

It's a good idea, but the fact that it only works when used along with one other card means that it will never make it into the game.

seems UP, could make it for every flying type in play? I can see you're trying to work :life/ :time synergy though.

imho, no i don't think he's trying to make a  :life /:time synergy card..
i think it's only cockatrices which would possibly lay eggs..

on the card, why not add dragons?
>they have high costs --> not really instant to come
>allows more time synergy to all elements, other than the draw power and anti-deck out

nail on the head, cockatrices were chosen because it is supposed to be a mildly humorous card, as fate eggs themselves tend to inherently be funny. if there were a bunny card i would have probably sided with that instead of the kfc.

It's a good idea, but the fact that it only works when used along with one other card means that it will never make it into the game.
uh, where the heck did you get that idea from? there is no such rule.

and the reason 10% was picked, so far, is that if there are 5 kfcs in play (and this isnt terribly difficult to accomplish with mitosis after a few turns, also in :life) then each fate nest has a 50% chance to produce a fate egg, and that would become a rather effective production line of eggs to play with.  and changing it to also allow dragons wouldnt terribly help the card, then it could work in a mono-time deck, which isnt the intent.  if there were more birds in the game i would just set it to for each bird rather than specifically the cockatrice, the only bird i can think of currently in game.

so, umm, just make it "may produce fate eggs while there are non- :time birds/dragons/ (whatever lays eggs)" to make it  :rainbow -ish??
 :P :P

*EDIT* scorps/frogs/spiders/fireflies/pests/fish/phoenixes could also lay eggs (????)

**EDIT** i just realized, vulture --> bird!!
yay for  :death :time
time to die!! (lol pun XD)

This is a very, very underpowered card, seeing that Fate egg itself requires one turn to be able to be hatched, not even mentioning all the CC it will be vulnerable to.

I think it would be still balanced if you make one Cockatrice produce one Fate Egg per nest.

the issue is the cost of this card is only 2 higher than fate eggs themselves.  i didnt want to make this card make fate eggs as a card themselves completely overshadowed.

I think if you made it all birds, it would be fine. Dragons might be a bit much IMHO.

Yes. With Cockatrices, Phoenixes, and Vultures I think it might be a little more balanced. But maybe something else.

Maybe  Pegasus? I mean it is half bird half horse right? Does that lay eggs or not ??? ?
