ART: HugleBunnys (source (http://huglebunnys.deviantart.com/art/The-Emerald-Star-185995395)) IDEA: Joint effort from some of the denizens of the Elements Chat. Give a shout if I missed anyone. Bhlewos, MatrimKK, Napalm, RootRanger NOTES: A creature made to counter the effects of Reverse Time/Eternity (which is a notorious enemy of Gravity), as well as other forms of CC to make it more well-rounded. Its relatively low cost also means it can be used for creature-spam-type decks such as ImmoStar or HopeStar (the latter in conjunction with Luciferase/Light Nymph). To prevent the game from just getting another low-cost Immofodder creature, the unupped cost was made 3, though it can be changed. As it's a passive skill, it cannot be Lobotomized, and additional abilities can be played over it such as Acceleration or Butterfly Effect. Some suggestions were also made, that when Reverse Timed the creature could be buffed, or make you draw a card, etc. Targeting spells = spells that when played, give you a choice of target. Therefore, mass CC like Rain of Fire (which doesn't target), and CC abilities (Mind Flayer and Owl's Eye) are not included. Some targeting spells were omitted, like Shard of Readiness which wouldn't affect Dwarf Star. Targeting spells affected by Dwarf Star's ability include: Holy Flash Blessing Drain Life Shockwave Plate Armor Basilisk Blood Gravity Pull (kept it in here because, though redundant, this causes it to be targeted by creatures as well as spells, for whoever wants that for some reason Chaos Seed Mutation Antimatter (questionable; may remove) Fire Bolt Rage Potion Freeze Ice Bolt Aflatoxin Lightning Rewind Spells that heal (Blessing and Holy Flash) were kept for now, though I'm also debating removing them. Seems to be like a creature version of Magnet | Lodestone (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,20702.0.html) by EvaRia. It could probably receive a cost reduction though. It's literally begging to be the target of CC, which means it might not last long. I'd say 2 | 1 .

At least that way I might be able to incorporate it into my . Fufufufufu.

I think the point here is to to increase the cost so as not to buff immo/nova decks.  If anything I would bump the cost up slightly and give a boost to hp.

I like this card quite a bit, but why is the upgraded version weaker? :p  I do realize it costs 1 less to play, but the 0/5 survives more stuff, like shockwave or a 10-19 quanta drain life/ice bolt, for instance.

I think the idea was to make it so only the upped version could be cheap enough to be easily spammable for other purposes like Hope and Immo. Of course we could make the upped version sturdier...either that or the unupped version should be the more expensive one with higher HP like Matrim suggested. Sort of like Abomination vs. Micro Abomination, I guess.
