This card has SERIOUS problems with it, what happens if you run a deck with 6 of these and 6 animate weapons, your opponent cant play cards past the 4th turn?
At MAX it should be 1 card on the unupgraded and 2 on the upgraded, then I would leave the damage similar, and increase the cost, maybe 5-> 5, but I still think this card would be far too powerful, as someone said, the effect is similar to not being able to play cards due to discord, but discord loses its effect after about 2 turns because it only affects (8 or 9 cant remember) quanta, some of which it starts putting back into the elements that you want.
This card might be better suited, without its damage, as a permanent, which expires after a certain number of turns (2, maybe 3, possibly 5 if you reduce the number of cards), that way you could play 3 of them and lock up your opponent's hand, but it will only last 2-3 turns, that seems much more balanced to me.
